FINALLY!!!

FINALLY...yes, well on multiple levels, finally I have posted something, but on a personal note, FINALLY I got my first win as a football coach. This afternoon the mighty Junior Varsity Spartans of Martin Luther High School took the field at University School of Milwaukee and scored on the first play of the game and hit the PAT for a 7-0 lead. This lead would carry the Spartans through out a fierce defensive struggle of a game. A failed 2 point conversion by USM in the third quarter kept the Spartans in the lead with a 7-6 score. The final play of the game was an interception on the 1 yard line by the dominant Spartan defense to seal the victory. And there was much rejoicing in Spartanland.

On a personal note, only 4.5 weeks till the wedding, and only 3.5 weeks till the Hidden River Art Fair in Brookfield, WI...Still subbing this year and looking for something bigger and more steady. Not much else to say, spent most of the summer traveling from coast to coast and a little in between. Oh, and another move, out of the city, less gun fire, but more train...yeah, its close.
