I have the coolest mom EVER!!!

The weekend before thanksgiving break my mommy flew down to Houston to visit me and spend some money at the auction my school has. This year is special because the proceeds go to the arts, so why not come out and support her favorite art teacher in the family. Well, she flew in Thursday night and i picked her up at the airport, got back home and basically went to bed cause i had to work on Friday. Friday was a good day at school, then i went home took a bit of a nap, then it was time for the auction down at Minute Maid Park where the Astros play. Anywho, we are enjoying ourselves and the evening was wonderful, then as it comes to a close some fellow football coaches and a couple parents i got to know well decided that they were headed to Red's for a little after party. while going to pick up the one item that mom won in the silent auction one of the parents came up to me and mom and said
"We are all headed to Red's for a drink and we want you to come. I am going to warn you now it is a bit of a 'red neck bar' but it will be a good time."
"Okay!"
So off to the red neck bar, conveniently called Red's, mom and i went. As if it wasnt really really rediculously cool that my mom was at the bar with me, but while sitting having a good time with our drink one of the people there turns around with a handful of tiny plastic cups...
"Jell-o Shots for the ladies"...
"Pete's mom...You have to have a Jell-o shot"
...mom says
"Okay!"...
HOW COOL IS THAT...not only did my mom come out to the redneck bar, but she was doing a Jell-o shot too...how many mom's do you know that go to redneck bars and have jell-o shots?...i really do have the coolest mom EVER!!!!!
