Austin 3 - Pete 1

Yes, you read it correctly, i am in a personal battle with none other than the state capital of Texas...Austin. This city has become my mortal enemy, it will either take my life or my job, whichever it seems more fit at the time, and in some cases it looks to take both...this little diddy started last fall soon after i moved to the lone star state...I shall break this down for you like a box score

Austin - 1 - The Lutheran High North volleyball team made it to the final four in state competition...WAHOOO...being the good teacher that i am i volunteer to help chaperone the student fan bus headed to their game at St. Edwards University in Austin...The bus ride there goes off without a hitch, then the downfall and battle started, Not only did we lose our game pathetically, but on the wonderful bus ride back i had the fortunate pleasure of keeping a student from getting arrested for vandalism...how might a student vandalize something you ask?...well when we stopped to get something to eat one of our students decided to kick in some boards on the fence at Sonic, the little hedgehogs at Sonic were not too pleased with this, so they called the po po, who also happened to be at the gas station filling up next door...well, after a long discussion with the officer and trying to explain why i have a wisconsin drivers license a warning was given, maybe a ticket written, and a very angry mr. froehlich.

Pete - 1 - On a beautiful fall evening i received two tickets to a UT vs. Ok. State football game, awesome seats, for a little bit it seemed like this game was going to suck, but UT managed the biggest come back in school history to produce what was an awesome second half (special thanks to my nephew daddy for getting me the tickets)

Austin - 2 - The second point for austin ironically was scored on April 2nd. I was traveling down I-35 so nicely when the 4 cars in front of me decided to stop short causing my sweet little VW Jetta to meet the back of a Buick...needless to say the austin interstate took the life of my car, and did what it could to try and take mine in this instance...Needless to say i was very leary of the city at this point, but this proved not to be the end of the battle, it shall rage on...

Austin - 3 - This past weekend was a double edged sword in scoring its third point. once again this part involves a coach bus, and myself being in a possition of authority over students, not as much as last time, but still in a teacher/coach position. The bus driver we had apparently has issues with narcalepsy cause i think he would fall asleep on us...there was the drifting from lane to lane on the hwy. and the swaying of the bus that reminded me of riding a NY City subway, it was absolutely insane...then the kicker we are just inside austin when the red light goes unnoticed by our bus driver, it took about 5-10 people screaming "RED LIGHT RED LIGHT RED LIGHT..." for him to realize it, he then proceeded to lock up the breaks on the bus avoiding the tanker driving through the intersection we almost plowed through, as if this near accident and subway like driving wasnt enough, our football team manages to go into a game and completely blow it fo 4 quarters, a very disappointing loss to say the least, the only thing left was to not die on the subway/bus ride back to school...

the Nation of Petoria has now declared a national emergency and will take any necessary evasive action in dealing with the engagement with intent to destroy by the city of Austin.
