Done...for now
Well, it has come to an end...after a lousy showing against the mighty fast Flying Dutchmen of Oostburg High School, the football season has come to an end. The Spartans managed just 3 points in their first round playoff outing Tuesday night to put an end to their season. The final score you ask?...47-3, what happened you ask?...#33 of the Flying Dutchmen, 10 carries for 298 yds. and 6 touchdowns, yeah, thats a touchdown every 1.8 carries...ridiculous.
On a brighter note, the Junior Varsity completed their season this past Saturday with a convincing with over Whitefish Bay Dominican...5 different Spartan players managed to reach the endzone, this victory brought the Spartans to an 8-1 record and looking forward to next season where the Spartans look to continue winning and avenge their only loss to the Catholics of Burlington Central. Next year we hope to bring the Reformation victory back to the Lutherans...
Now, onto the search for the next more permanent working position as my afternoons have become free again, maybe i will get to spend some time in my studio space perfecting my most recent ideas in clay, as well as the continuation of the riveting (insert heavy sarcasm) daily life of a substitute teacher...hope this finds you all well...
