The End!
Well, this is it, the hallways are quiet, all the test are taken (not graded, taken), art work collected, and goodbye's said, not its time to clean up, the pile is getting bigger, i guess i never realized how much stuff in my classroom was actually mine...its amazing...My football managers gave me a picture in a frame and thanked me, and they all want me to get a MySpace so they can keep track of me...It's over, another year of school down, 40 more to go. Now onto the next task, finding a new teaching job for next school year...I'm like a super hero, my work is never done....
Time to come out and just say it...
Well, i figured its been long enough, i can finally say it and let people know, many of my friends already know, but i think its time to tell the rest of the world...okay...here it goes...I'm moving...yup i said it, i am leaving texas...a little over a month ago i found out that because of dropping enrollment in the school and in my classes, i will only have 4 classes to teach next year, leaving me 2 short of being full-time faculty...also because of dropping enrollment there are no other classes for me to teach besides art. So, i have decided that it would be in my best interests if i found another job. I would love to be able to let all you wonderful people know where i am going, but alas, i have not found another job yet, i have sent out resumes, filled out applications, and changed my call status with the LCMS...now i wait and hope that the job i really really want comes through...i would tell you where and what it is, but i dont want to jinx it...i will just let you know it is in the Greater Upper Midwest Wisconsin Area...just a hint...I am surprisingly okay with it, not too much bitterness, just a little...but sometimes a change can be a very good thing, so i am going to take it and run with it...i will be sure to post when i have more information that is actually pertinant to where i might be relocating too...
