EARTHQUAKE!!!!

It might not make it to the news, and most likely not past this blog, but this is a story to remember...my wonderful upstairs neighbors that like to do it loudly were at it again saturday night (i am not going to tell you about each escapade, but this is worth noting) and this time i fell asleep way before it started, about 3 am they get home, must have been out at a party or the bar, and i know thats when they got home cause they were walking like elephants, anyone could have heard it, and the second i woke up i knew what was coming...they were gonna GET IT ON. and they did, this time though it would last longer than usual and at one point the headboard was hitting the wall so hard the lamp on the table next to my bed was shaking...and then she was louder than ever, i honestly dont know how she would have been able to walk on sunday...honestly, how do you bring this up with them?

Confusion

With the Astros World Series birth and the city of Houston boycotting the use of socks for the next two weeks my sympathies lie in a differnt city, no not St. Louis, Boston, or New York, i feel for the North side of chicago, why you ask?...well, those loveable losers there on the northside of chi-town, the cubbies, where to they put their loyalties for this series, you would think first National League of course, but can you root for a division rival, then you think American League of course cause the NL opponent is a division rival, but the AL representative is none other than the team from the south side, the white sox. I feel not only for their inability to make it to the series, but for this years inability to even root for a team participating in the series, its like a Mets fan watching a Yankees/Braves series...its just sucks.

Its like straight out of a movie

Okay, you know those scenes in movies where the person is sleeping in their apartment then all of a sudden they are woken up by this rhythmic pounding on the wall then some Oooo's and Ooooohhh's to follow that rhythum...well, it doesn't just happen in the movies, it happens to me, thats right, my neighbors like to romp, they like to pork, bump uglies, do the deed, chaka chaka, love it long time, getting their freak on, feel the motion of the ocean, and as the hawaiians say kaman i wana laya...yup, three times in the past week my neighbors have woken me up just after i have fallen asleep...and they were not walking heavy, they were DOING IT. I'm not one to keep people from romping, but i dont want to know the sex life of the people that i live near, i just want to be able to get a good nights sleep so i can go to work and teach and deal with a couple hundred high school students every day, and these people are really messing up my stuff by waking me up with this...and oh yes, she's a screamer(i'd be even more pissed if she is faking it and still screaming that loud, if its not worth it she should just be laying there eating a pop tart or something), there is an upside to this though, he's quick so it never lasts too long, just long enough to piss me off...maybe next time i will go knock on their door and ask them to stop, or just move the bed away from the wall(note to self, dont ever buy headboard for bed), i can always find something to drown out the screaming, and can you really complain to the apt. office about neighbors that have loud sex, thats kind of wierd and maybe just a little awkward, i could just see these people trying to find another apt. and being asked why they were kicked out of the last one "uhhhh, ma'am we had loud sex."...hmmm awkward...JUST LET ME SLEEP!!!!

I did it...ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!

Yup, I did it all night long, I stayed up last thursday night and painted the south endzone at school, and it took me all night long, which is awesome and it looked good, solid blue with lions written in white in the middle, i should have taken a picture, but i will save that story for yet another day...i was really tired friday too...but it did look good...until friday night when we went out and layed a big fat zero on the board for homecoming, yup homecoming, i am starting to think this homecoming losing streak is because of me. It all started a long time ago...circa 1994 when my first high school homecoming was a losing effort, that would continue through all 4 years of high school and even into college, well, we may have won one or two in the decade or so i was at Mequon, but not many, then when i start teaching and coaching, the two years i have been here, we have lost homecoming, i am starting to think it has something to do with me.

oh yeah, so this not taking a picture thing, thats because i cant remember how to download pictures from my camera to my computer, i guess thats still not a good excuse to not take a picture of it, maybe i will go out and do that today before practice, maybe it will still look somewhat good, i will have to sit down and read the book again...

other than that life is okay, i will have to come up with some witty anecdote for a future post...
